RESULIMA EXPANDS ITS NETWORK OF RECYCLING POINTS AND URGES THE PUBLIC TO USE THEM CORRECTLY
Resulima is reinforcing its operation and container network with the installation of new recycling points and new glass recycling containers equipped with an assisted transfer system (designed to facilitate the unloading of containers used by restaurants and hotels), in an investment aimed at responding to the seasonal increase in waste production characteristic of the summer months, and improving the service provided to the population and commercial establishments.
Regarding citizen services, the company is reinforcing its selective collection network with the installation of 65 new sets of recycling points, corresponding to 195 containers, intended for the three types of recyclable waste: paper/cardboard, plastic, and metal and glass. 29 units are already being installed in public spaces, and 21 will be distributed in Barcelos, 21 in Viana do Castelo, and 15 in Esposende. This initiative aims to improve the service provided to the resident population and respond to the increase in waste production that historically occurs during the summer.

Valorminho and Resulima are donating 120,000 euros to charities as part of the ‘Toneladas de Ajuda’ campaign
Every little helps, and every action contributes to building a more sustainable and caring future. We would therefore like to highlight the ‘Toneladas de Ajuda’ campaign, a charitable initiative that combines recycling with social responsibility, through which it was possible last year to allocate around 120,000 euros to charitable organisations in the form of financial contributions for recyclable materials delivered to Valorminho and Resulima. These funds have had a positive impact on the 23 organisations that took part in the campaign.
The ‘Toneladas de Ajuda’ campaign is aimed at social and non-profit organisations in Portugal and is available within the areas covered by Valorminho and Resulima.
